Styling With Black | 2-3

Here I styled the Silk Black Crepe Top with a fitted, straight skirt of the same material. Always a monocratic look is the way to go for me and it is even more exciting when I get to work with the same fabric head to toe. This look is definitely giving elegant, chic, wedding guest look, special celebration, or a nice date night in a lux place. 

I added some extra pics! Look all the way down, I felt so pretty this night for a very special celebration. I am planing to make this look in other colors.

Custom Blue Top With Elastic Wrist Styled With Pants

This month I made this beautiful Blue top with long sleeves, loose fit, round neck and back zipper for easy on and off.

I also added elastic in the waist and the wrist. This is such a fun feature I am using in most of my designs from now on, specially in the waist because it allows for the tucked look without the bulky tucking look inside the bottom piece. I am absolutely obsessed with this look and the fact that I don't have to worry how my outfit is going to look if I move or go to the bathroom and have to put myself together again. It always looks the same! The worries of wether I tucked it in right or not is gone.

Having an elastic waist, not only looks good and give you confidence that you are always well put together. But, it saves you a lot of time. If you are like me each time I have to tuck a top in, I spend plenty of time making sure is even all around and that it is not showing too much bulkiness on one side vs the other. Maybe is the detailed designer eye in me but I am pretty annoying when it comes to looks looking as sharp as possible on the body. It doesn't have to be a lot, just small details can make a huge difference. 

Now that I have gone over the details of the top of this month, let's talk about these pants. I mean, can we give it a round of applause to these beautiful pants. They are absolutely fantastic! The color is super awesome, the straight legs fit gives me all the comfort and chic look I strive for.

I hope you noticed...It has front pockets!! Yes, front pockets are back and I am not mad about it. I used to be a huge fan of pockets and after moving to the USA I had to find ways to cut cost because fabrics are so expensive here so I started making my designs simpler and simpler but let me tell you, each time I make a bottom piece without pockets is as if I am missing something. I love putting my hands in pockets when I am talking to someone, or when I don't have my bag with me, or waiting in line for something, It's just a comfort thing for me. I made these pants long enough to go over my platforms, love me some platform moment, I am only 5'2", lol! 

This is all I have to say about these two beautiful pieces I made from scratch this month. Looking forward for you to let me know what you think of them when stopping by my studio.
